Julia Donaldson’s book about a small snail who talks a humpback whale into carrying her around the world. Matveeva built the sea out of a frame packed with plastic water bottles: lit from behind, it turns the stage floor into a whole ocean.

Каркас, заполненный пластиковыми бутылками с водой, отлично пропускает свет, и на сцене не просто бегут волны, а образуется целый океан колышущейся воды, и она переливается и распадается на радужный спектр на планшете сцены.

A frame packed with plastic bottles of water lets the light straight through, and what runs across the stage is not just waves but a whole ocean of moving water, shimmering and breaking into a rainbow spectrum on the stage floor.
